Before you begin the hitch selection process it's important that you realize that the hitch by itself will not provide you with the ability to tow. In addition to the hitch customers must have towing components such as a hitch ball and or ball mount, wiring, safety chains and automatic transmission cooler in order to safely and legally tow.
For safety, we make sure your tow vehicle is capable of towing the intended trailer. Neither the vehicle nor the trailer alone can determine the right hitch for the situation. They work together, and in no case should the trailer's GTW and TW exceed the vehicle's maximum towing capacity.

We have a wide selection of in stock towing products that fit most vehicles. If we don't have your specific part we can have in in stock within one week or less. It is important that your trailer and the vehicle have a working electrical system to insure safe operation of your vehicles. We carry a full line of  electrical products and accessories 4-Flat, 5-Flat, brake controls, connectors, T-One connectors, wiring, wiring information (General). If you already have a hitch and need safety chains, new ball, or new socket. Chances are we have the accessory you need, ball mount, drawbars, pintle hook,  pintle mount & access., hitch balls, receiver tube Covers, locks, safety chains

We need to know the following information:

  • Trailer type.
  • Gross trailer weight.
  • Tongue weight.
  • Coupler socket size.
  • Whether your trailer already has safety chains, or needs new ones.
  • Where you plan to tow — under what geographic conditions.
  • What type of vehicle will be the tow vehicle
CURT manufactures over 1,000 different trailer hitches to meet every possible towing need. It is our goal to always be your best option for towing by providing a complete line of quality products and being first-to-market with towing products for each new vehicle. If we can get you out on the road with a hitch you can enjoy for years to come, doing more of what you love, we have done our job. Each CURT trailer hitch undergoes stringent quality testing throughout the production process. The hitch must pass a number of inspection checks before it can pass on to the next stage of manufacturing. This ensures proper functioning with virtually no variability and ultimately results in true customer satisfaction. We are so confident in the quality of our trailer hitches that we back them up with a limited lifetime warranty and a one-year finish warranty.
